Georgetown Prep's Director of Health and Wellness and Athletic Trainer, Adam Brown, won the 2020 Impact Advocacy Award from the National Athletic Trainers Association on April 25.

The National Athletic Trainers Association's "Impact Advocacy Award" "recognizes an athletic trainer's early, passionate, and consistent involvement in governmental affairs at the state and local level in the first decade of their career."

According to the National Athletic Trainer's Association (NATA)'s website, "Founded in 1950, the NATA has grown to more than 45,000 members worldwide today. The majority of certified athletic trainers choose to be members of NATA to support their profession and to receive a broad array of membership benefits. By joining forces as a group, NATA members can accomplish more for the athletic training profession than they can individually."

Congratulations, Adam!
