Georgetown Prep's foundation is to form men for and with others. These are more than words written on walls; it is who we are.
We have introduced a new campaign called Prep Strong: Keeping Our Family Together. We know full well a number of our families are suffering financial displacement, some of our young men need our financial assistance for basic educational tools, some of our students may not be able to join us when our campus reopens after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Many of our important and key fundraising and community-building events have either been scaled down, postponed, or cancelled. All of which is to say – our young men and their families need us now in a way not experienced before and Georgetown Prep wants to be there for them. We can cannot bear to think that even one current or incoming student might have to turn away from us due to recent events.
We know this note reaches some of you who are unable to help now and we completely understand. But many of you can. We ask you to do so with an open heart full of generosity that is the hallmark of so many in our community.
A great many of you contribute to our Annual Fund at this time of the year. Please know that those gifts this year will be part of our Prep Strong Cause, and if you are able to give a bit more than in past years, we promise that your extra generosity is most needed and appreciated.
From this day through June 30 (the conclusion of our fiscal year) we ask for your help; help our young men, their families, help our faculty and staff stay strong and together during this trying, uncertain time.
