An exhibit commemorating the Centennial of Georgetown Preparatory School's first year at its new campus in Garrett Park, Maryland, 1919-1920, opens Friday, October 25.

This "New Prep" exhibit celebrates the 100th anniversary of Georgetown Prep's move from the Georgetown University campus to its present location in Montgomery County, Maryland.

The exhibit seeks to provide a glimpse not only into the life of the New Prep during its first academic year, 1919-1920, but also to identify and explore key developments during the 30 years between 1890 and 1919 that led to the transfer of the Georgetown University Preparatory School to what was then known as Garrett Park, Maryland.

The exhibit will open in the Robert Southwell, S.J., Library in Boland Hall on Friday, October 25 (the beginning of Homecoming and Reunion Weekend) and will run through November 10.

All are welcome.
