Below is a message from Rev. James R. Van Dyke, S.J., to the Georgetown Prep community on Sunday, June 30, 2019.
Dear Members of the Georgetown Prep Community,
I want to take a moment to thank you, the Georgetown Prep Community, for your support of the 2018-2019 Annual Fund. Your generosity allows us to continue to propel John Carroll's 230-year-old dream ever forward. Georgetown Prep could not be the fantastic Catholic, Jesuit secondary school it is without your support. Thank you.
If you have yet to contribute to this year's Annual Fund, there is still time! The 2018-2019 Annual Fund closes at midnight tonight. It is simple to make a gift online or by Venmo.
St. Ignatius Loyola teaches us that the two greatest virtues are generosity and gratitude. Georgetown Prep's highest ideal and aspiration is that our graduates strive to be men for and with others in a world that badly needs them.
Thank you for enabling Georgetown Prep to carry on the work of St. Ignatius Loyola in the formation of men for and with others.
Sincerely in Christ,
Rev. James R. Van Dyke, S.J.
President
