19 Hoyas Earn Fall All-IAC Honors

Congratulations to the members of Georgetown Prep's cross country, football and soccer teams who earned All-I.A.C. honors for their outstanding play this fall.

The varsity football team won a share of the 2017 Interstate Athletic Conference (I.A.C.) championship with a 32-12 victory over visiting Bullis on November 11. Prep shares the 2017 I.A.C. title with Landon. The Hoyas finished their season with an 8-2 overall record and 4-1 league record.

Prep's varsity soccer team ended its season with a 13-4-1 mark and finished in second place in the I.A.C. The Hoyas finished in second place in the regular season conference standings and defeated St. Albans in the I.A.C. semifinals before falling to Landon in the championship.

The varsity cross country team placed third in the I.A.C. tournament. The Hoyas placed third in the Maryland State Championships, edging out Landon by three points. Patrick Howley '18 finished in fifth place overall.
